What shipping options do you offer?

If you are in the United States, we will ship to you via FedEx or USPS service. We offer the following services:

United States Orders:

  • FedEx Ground (2-4 business days (Inside the 48 Contiguous States) $7.95
  • FedEx 2 Day (Inside the 48 Contiguous States) $14.95
  • FedEx 2 Day (Outside 48 - AK (Alaska) & HI (Hawaii)) - $19.95
  • FedEx Standard Overnight (delivery next business day) $19.95
  • USPS Priority Mail (3-5 days) $7.95
  • USPS Priority Mail to APO addresses worldwide (5-10 days) $14.95

All domestic orders over $75 ship for FREE. This applies only to orders within the 48 Contiguous United States. Shipping is still only $7.95 for most orders under $75.

Please Note: Orders with heavy / bulky items will have shipping determined on a case by case basis. (We will contact you.)

International Orders (Outside the US):

Can I ship to an address other than my billing address?

For quick order processing, we recommend shipping your order to the address that your credit card statement is sent to. If you are on an adventure far from your billing address, we'll ship it to you, but your order processing could be delayed for identification verification.

When will my order ship?

We generally ship products within 24 hours after the order is placed. Orders will usually ship same day if the order is placed before 12PM Central Time. We will contact the customer with order status in case of product backorder or shipment delay.

I placed my order for “FedEx Overnight Delivery”. Will I receive it on the next day?

If you placed an order for “FedEx Overnight Delivery” during the work week (Monday - Thursday) before 12:00 PM Central time, then you will receive your order the next day. If you place your order on Friday for “FedEx Overnight Delivery”, then your order will be shipped on Friday, but will be delivered on the next business day - Monday. If there is a holiday, then that day should be taken into account. FedEx will deliver on a Saturday, but you must call this request in to us. There will be an extra fee for this ultra-premium service. FedEx does not deliver on Sunday.

Can I get my package on a Saturday?

Yes, you must place your order by 12:00 PM Central time on Friday AND you must notify us by emailing the shipping department at shipping@outdoorsinc.com There will be an additional charge applied to your order for this service.

Do you ship to Post Office boxes?

We use FedEx for many of our shipments. FedEx does require a physical address to deliver to. We will ship to a post office box using USPS if there is no physical address.

What if I know I won’t be home when FedEx tries to deliver. Will they leave it at the door?

Yes, FedEx by default leaves all packages at the door. For more expensive items we do recommend the “signature required” option to prevent theft.

I just placed an order for a fragile and expensive item. Will you pack them well so they arrive unharmed?

We use new corrugated brown boxes for every order. Products are wrapped in triple-ply Kraft paper. Because of its natural give and stiffness, Kraft paper provides a much better cushion for shipping as compared to styrofoam peanuts or foam AND it can be recycled. All of our products are packaged this way regardless of value.

We probably will. What is a shipping surcharge?

Some items that we sell are quite heavy. For instance, Kayaks, Canoes, Bikes and other large or bulky items will incur a much higher cost to ship. Therefore, those items may be subject to an additional shipping charge (surcharge). Shipments of these items to countries outside of the United States will be surcharged on a case-by-case basis. If you want to place an order for anything that is subject to a surcharge and you want to know what you will be charged before you order, just call us and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

Will I get a tracking number for my order?

We send a tracking number email for every order we ship. If you placed an order and requested FedEx service (Domestic or International) you will receive an email to the email address you provided us when you placed the order. Tracking will also be provided with International USPS Express shipments and most domestic USPS shipments.

PLEASE NOTE: If you placed an order and you have not received an email with a tracking number, it may be because of “Spam Blocking”. Unfortunately these “Spam Blockers” may see our tracking confirmation email as Spam. We have no control over your Internet Service Provider and the way they stop Spam. If you have not received a tracking number for your shipment, please email shipping@outdoorsinc.com and we will provide it to you.
