The Outdoors Inc Canoe and Kayak Race on the Mississippi in Memphis has been honored in Paddler magazine's Best of the Best October 2003 issue.

The race is 23 years old and in 2003 attracted Olympic, Pan Am, and European champions as well as hundreds of recreational paddlers. Outdoors Inc is appreciative of this national acknowledgment of one of the best paddling events in the nation.

Next years race on May 1, 2004 will include current world surf ski champion Oscar Chalupsky of South Africa, Olympic Gold Medalist Greg Barton of Seattle WA,  and Pan American Champion Mike Herbert.
